 This play of colors fascinated Goethe so much that he wrote the book "Theory of Color" (1810).

It was the first to attribute a deeply human emotional meaning to light and colors, in addition to Newton's previous scientific approach - how art nourishes the human soul. Just as the sun nourishes the soul, it also nourishes our bodies. The sun was the inspiration for both the set design and the decorations.
